Spring Splendor

From winter’s black and white,
Colors have sprung in the morning light.
Green earth glistens with the dew,
Sunlight shines through the sky so blue.
Budding flowers, moving in the breeze,
Waving their golden petals,
Shouting, thanks for no more freeze!
Springs splendor has warmed our souls and brightened our days,
Brings us the song of the blue jays,
As our hearts turn towards the sun’s rays.
