Nature’s Sunflowers

Silence.
Nature is still.
One bird rejoicing
As the light from the morning sun
Breaks away between
Scales of the mackerel sky.
Nature is still
Yet ALIVE.
It tells me so by the vibrance of the sunflower’s tones and hues,
It beckons me with a wave as the wind skips by.
With each stride,
It brings a smell that gets me high.
And I, sitting on a rock,
At the top of the hill,
Am viewing nature with a glorious thrill!
