A time to remember.
Desperation.
Fear.
Burn that year!
Isolated.
Waves and kisses through windows.
Groceries delivered, and wiped
down,
Vaccines nowhere to be found.
Backyard devoid of traffic sound.
Bird songs could be heard,
singing a symphony to the absurd.
Nature cannot be quieted.
It reminds us to be united,
And delighted
Knowing,
That a crippling disease cannot stop
life from flowing.
